When can I take my State examination?

A student recently asked “if I need my fingerprints and everything to be registered with the state before I can apply to take the test”

Pearson VUE is the third party company that administers the real estate examinations on behalf of the DBPR

When a candidate is eligible to sit the exam they they receive notification of the candidates name and social security number from the DBPR

To be eligible you need to have completed your application and the fingerprinting process and passed the background checks

So, you do need to have your fingerprints and have completed the application before you will be allowed to apply for a date for the state test

Of course there is also the minor matter of successfully completing the pre-licensing course with a passing grade…
